Martin Goyette

Martin Goyette is a professor at Ecole nationale d’administration publique (ENAP). He holds a Ph.D of Social Work from Laval University. In 2010 he was nominated at Le Cercle d’excellence de l’Université du Quebec and obtained, in 2012, the Excellence in research award from École nationale d’administration publique.

He’s currently the principal investigator for Leaving care in Quebec and France: A longitudinal study (EDJeP) and for the Leaving care longitudinal data laboratory. In addition to these, Martin Goyette led many projects involving researchers from Quebec, Canadian and foreign universities. Since 2008, he received 42 research grants, 26 as principal investigator. This has certainly contributed to the recognition of his expertise. Indeed, he acts as policy and program consultant to provincial government and in Europe. Since 2008, he participated in the supervision of 38 graduate and post-graduate students. As for his research work, it focuses on understanding the experience of individuals and on the analysis of government intervention to support them. More specifically, Martin Goyette is interested in the transition to adulthood of young people and more specifically those who are leaving care. He’s also concerned about the dynamics of social inclusion / exclusion and social network analysis.
